Today we caught our flight back to Cairo and back to the Mena House. On the way I asked the driver to once again take us back a different way so we could experience more of Cairo. Once we got close to our hotel I was able to get some great shots of the Pyramids from a new angle. They truly are magnificent.

After checking back in, we had the rest of the day free so we decided to go to the Mall of Egypt. It’s a new Mall with several high end stores along with their version of a Walmart. We enjoyed seeing first hand how the people do their everyday shopping, what they enjoy and how they interact. Just our version of people watching. Trust me when I tell you we are as much a mystery to them as they are to us. Getting to know the people of Egypt is definitely one of the highlights of our trip so far.
